From any stop to any stop
Plan a journey
Choose where from and where to. TransportHub finds every bus that day, the change if there is one, the fare, and anything on the road that will hold it up.
The journey planner: Hutts Gate to Grand Parade, giving the 07:20 bus, arriving 07:33, £2.25. -

The live map
See the buses move
All four routes drawn on the real roads, and each bus where the timetable puts it. Tap one for where it is going, its next stops and when it gets there.
The live map of the middle of the island, buses moving along their routes; a Route 1 bus is tapped and shows it is arriving at Corner Wall in 1 minute. -

Road notices, for your buses
Know before you go
St Helena Government posts a closure; TransportHub reads it, works out exactly which journeys it touches, and tells you about yours first.
Roads Today on 9 September 2026: SHG's closure of Corner Wall to Two Gun Saddle, Route 1 chosen as my bus, and the three Route 1 journeys it delays. -

Every stop has its own page
Scan at the stop
The code on a stop's sheet opens that stop: its next buses, minutes to go, and a journey planned from there. Saved on the phone, it works with no signal.
The Hutts Gate stop page from its QR code: the next buses and minutes to go, then a journey planned from there to Grand Parade.
Live on St Helena· now
Every bus. Every road. One app.
St Helena's buses, road notices, airport rides, taxis, boat trips and help, on your phone. Built on the island, and it keeps working when the signal doesn't.

The public trial
Open to everyone from 1 November
From Sunday 1 November 2026, TransportHub is open to everyone on St Helena and everyone visiting, as a public trial. There is no invitation to wait for and nothing to sign up for: open it in your browser and it's yours.
The trial opens in
Sunday 1 November 2026, from midnight
For everyone
Islanders, visitors and anyone planning a trip. Bus times, the live map, road notices, walks and help need no account at all.
Ready on day one
All four bus routes and every stop, SHG's road notices, flight and cruise ship days, walks and help. Taxis, hire cars and boat trips appear as their operators join.
Shaped by you
Tell us what is wrong, missing or could be better. During the trial every message is read, and what people tell us decides what we improve first.
See it in use
Real screens, recorded from the app
Nothing here is a mock-up. Each clip is TransportHub itself, with the island's real timetable and SHG's real notices.
Everything in one place
The island's transport, and then some
Read from the sources the island already trusts: St Helena Government's timetables and notices, the airport's flight calendar, and the operators themselves.
Never miss the bus
All four routes and every stop, a journey planner, and a live map of where each bus should be. Trial journeys and flight-day buses are marked.
Road notices as alerts
SHG's closures, one-way systems and weather warnings, with exactly which buses they affect. Alerts can be just for the stops and routes you use.
Flight Day
Share a car to or from the airport with others on the same flight, with the flight's status and SHG's flight notices.
Taxis, hire and boats
Find and book the taxis, hire cars and boat trips listed in TransportHub. Boat trips follow SHG's marine rules.
Cruise Ship Day
Landing times, the road changes on a ship day, a taxi tour, and a reminder to be back on board in time.
Walk and Ride
The Post Box Walks you can reach by bus, with the bus there and the bus back.
My Trip
A visitor's flights, rides and walks on one timeline, as a calendar file or a message home. It stays on your phone.
Help and emergencies
999 and the island's key numbers one tap away, and a quick way to tell someone where you are going.
Works with no signal
Open it once and the timetables, map, walks and help stay on your phone, for the stretches of road with no signal.
Boards
A departure board for any screen
At the airport, the Tourist Office or the busiest stops, TransportHub runs on any screen with a web browser and looks after itself: minutes counting down, buses rolling on, the roads and the weather.
- Redraws every half minute; keeps the last news through a dropped connection
- Dark, large, readable across a room, and kind to the screen
- Collects nothing: no camera, no counting, no sign-in
Private and secure by design
Built to know as little about you as it can
Most of TransportHub needs no account, and we can't tell who you are. When you book, we keep only what the operator needs, and remove it after a year.
When can I start using it?
Now, if you like: open it in your browser. The public trial opens to everyone on Sunday 1 November 2026, and from then on we are listening hard for what to improve. About the trial.
Do I need to download it from an app store?
No. TransportHub is a web app: open it in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen, and it behaves like any other app, including working offline. How to install it.
Do I need an account?
Only to book a taxi, hire car, boat trip or airport ride. Everything else is open, with no sign-up. To book, you sign in with a code sent to your email: there is no password.
Is this St Helena Government's app?
No. TransportHub is made and run by NexTech St. Helena Ltd. The bus times come from St Helena Government's published timetables, and road notices from SHG's own posts. For anything about the bus service itself, the Public Transport Service and the driver have the final word.
What happens when there is no signal?
Once you have opened TransportHub, the timetables, the map you have looked at, walks, your trip and help numbers stay on your phone. Road and flight news update when you are back in signal, and the app tells you how old they are.
Who do I pay for a ride or a trip?
The operator who provides it: the taxi driver, the hire firm or the boat operator, at their price. TransportHub passes on your booking request; the operator confirms it.
Something is wrong or missing. Who do I tell?
Email solutions@nextechsthelena.com. During the trial, NexTech reads every message, and what people tell us decides what we fix first.
Ready when you are
Open it now in your browser. Add it to your home screen in two taps, and it's there with no signal too.
